LHB coaches for two express trains
Southern Railway is upgrading two express trains, the Sethu Superfast and Chendur Superfast, to LHB coaches. This transition aims to improve passenger safety and comfort by updating the train composition.

A statement said that Train No. 22661/22662 Chennai Egmore – Rameswaram – Chennai Egmore Sethu Superfast Express will run with LHB coaches from Chennai Egmore with effect from October 22 and from Rameswaram with effect from October 19.
Train No. 20605/20606 Chennai Egmore – Tiruchendur – Chennai Egmore Chendur superfast express will run with LHB coaches from Chennai Egmore with effect from October 20 and from Tiruchendur with effect from October 21.
