LG Electronics is presenting its 2026 lineup of AI-powered televisions at IFA 2026 in Berlin, Germany, from September 4 to 8. With the award-winning α11 AI Processor Gen3, the new TVs combine enhanced picture and sound quality with personalized recommendations, user-focused tools, and multi-layered security.
AI Processing for Better Picture and Sound
The α11 AI Processor Gen3 serves as the centerpiece of LG’s 2026 AI TV lineup. LG describes it as its most powerful AI TV engine, with faster video processing and improvements to CPU and GPU performance. Its neural processing unit delivers a 5.6-fold improvement compared with the 2025 α9 AI Processor Gen8.
The processor enables AI Dual 4K Upscaling, which combines two artificial intelligence methods to convert lower-resolution content into sharper and clearer 4K images. It also powers AI Sound Pro, which creates cinematic Virtual 11.1.2-channel audio.
