Leaked images of upcoming Lenovo Googlebook devices reveal a new laptop and 2-in-1 tablet featuring a dedicated Gemini AI hardware key. These devices are expected to launch in Fall 2026, marking a shift away from ChromeOS toward a new Google-developed operating system.

Lenovo is expected to release some of the first Googlebook models later this year, and leaked images have now given us a good idea of what they might look like. Leaked press images shared by Digital Citizen and Android Headlines include a laptop and a 2-in-1 tablet, all of which feature Googlebook branding on the keyboard.
This is the best look we’ve had at Google’s Chromebook successor since the Android-based Googlebook platform was announced in May. Details about the initiative remain sparse, but we know that Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo are lined up to release the first models sometime in Fall 2026. Googlebooks are also expected to ditch ChromeOS in favor of a new operating system, and Gemini AI will reportedly be baked into pretty much everything.
