The Lemmo 3 is the first cargo bike from the respected German e-bike maker. This premium, step-through longtail is a slightly less insane take on Rivian’s Also TM-B, with one major advantage: it’s one of the first electric bikes to feature a semi-solid state battery.

Semi-solid state batteries are far safer than traditional lithium-ion batteries. Their gel-like composition offers improved energy density, with far less risk of thermal runaway. That translates to improved range and longevity from a more compact battery that’s unlikely to catch fire when left charging overnight in your house or business. The semi-solid state electrolyte even remains stable when punctured in a crash.
