'Leave me out of it': Suge Knight says he doesn't want to testify in Tupac Shakur murder suspect's trial

Marion 'Suge' Knight has stated he will not cooperate or testify in the upcoming murder trial of Duane 'Keffe D' Davis, who is accused of killing Tupac Shakur. Knight, the only living eyewitness to the 1996 shooting, maintains his refusal to assist law enforcement.
Why it matters
The refusal of a key witness to testify complicates a high-profile, decades-old murder case that remains a significant event in music history.
He's been a dominant persona in the world of hip-hop for more than three decades. He also remains the only living eyewitness to the drive-by assassination of Tupac Shakur.
And from prison, Marion "Suge" Knight said he still refuses to cooperate with law enforcement as prosecutors try to convict the only man ever charged in connection with the 1996 shooting of the legendary rapper.
"This trial has nothing to do with me and if somebody brings me there, it's gonna hurt whoever brings me there. I promise you that," Knight said in an interview last week with ABC News.
