One of the world's longest running population health studies is celebrating its 60th year with a mobile caravan installation bringing free health checks to the state's South West.

The Busselton Health Study began in 1966 and has surveyed more than 20,000 participants, becoming the foundational study for a number of world-leading scientific advancements.

Researchers and volunteers are encouraging Busselton residents from younger generations to sign up to the study to secure its future for another 60 years.
