<p>Liam Lawson placed qualified 11th on Saturday night at the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia, narrowly missing out on Q3.</p> <p>The Kiwi was outpaced by Brazilian Audi driver Gabriel Bortoleto, who secured a place in the third stage of qualifying with a lap 0.2 seconds quicker than Lawson's.</p> <p>In a post-qualifying interview, Lawson said it was annoying losing a place to Audi.</p> <p>"It's just frustrating because we were quite clear of them in FP3, honestly, and on Friday as well," he said.</p> <p>"I don't really know where we've lost speed, but we just struggled a lot with tyres through the session, overheating through the lap and was felt like more of an issue."</p> <p>The Kiwi was optimistic about his team's chances heading into the race, but acknowledged the Sepang circuit could tighten the competition for Racing Bulls.</p> <p>"I think we put a lot of effort into the long runs this…
