Lava launches Spark 2 Pro 5G in India
Lava has launched the Shark 2 Pro 5G smartphone in India, featuring an AI assistant, a 120Hz display, and a 6,000 mAh battery. The device is positioned in the mid-range market and runs on Android 16.

India’s homegrown smartphone maker Lava on Tuesday (September 29, 2026) launched a new mid segment 5G smartphone the Shark 2 Pro 5G for buyers in the country. The phone also ships with Lava’s own AI assistant, Vayu AI.
Lava Shark 2 Pro has a 6.75 inch HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Lava Shark 2 Pro runs on Unisoc T8200 with 6 GB RAM, further expandable with up to 6 GB additional virtual RAM, and 128 GB internal storage, expandable up to 1 TB via microSD card. It operates on Android 16 out of the box and will receive 1 Android OS upgrade and 2 years of security updates.
Lava Shark 2 Pro ships with a 6,000 mAh battery, supported by an 18W fast charger. It is IP64 rated for splash and dust resistance.
