Laughter therapy eases breathlessness in people with COPD

A clinical trial presented at the European Respiratory Society Congress suggests that laughter therapy can effectively reduce breathlessness in patients with COPD. The findings indicate that this non-pharmacological approach is as effective as traditional breathing exercises.
