Latvian central bank issues another crypto licence to German-owned company

Latvian regulators have issued a crypto-asset license to Atrya Technologies, a German-owned firm, under the EU's MiCA framework. This allows the company to provide custody and exchange services across the European Union.

The licence authorises the company to provide custody and administration of crypto-assets on behalf of clients and to exchange crypto-assets for other crypto-assets. Atrya Technologies SIA has obtained the licence in accordance with the requirements of the European Union (EU) Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and may provide its services throughout the EU under the cross-border notification mechanism. Information from the company register says Atrya Technologies was founded in March this year and its board consists of German citizen Lorian Qorraj and a Lithuanian citizen Rytis Šimkus.
