Latvia to host 2030 BMX World Championship in Valmiera

--> Latvia will host the 2030 BMX World Championship in the city of Valmiera. It will be the first BMX tournament of this level to take place in one of the Baltic countries, LSM English reports , citing Toms Markss, secretary general of the Latvian Cycling Federation.

Valmiera won the right to host the championship following a decision by the Congress of the International Cycling Union (UCI), which was held in Montreal. Denmark and Saudi Arabia also competed for the right to host the event.
