Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday announced an ex gratia of ₹20 lakh for each of the families of the workers from the state who were killed in the terror attack in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Sai directed the state government to depute a senior officer to Jammu and Kashmir to coordinate with the bereaved families and local authorities to ensure the victims’ last rites are conducted with dignity and according to religious customs.
