Dylan Larkin said he plans to be at Detroit Red Wings training camp when it begins next week but no longer will be the captain of the team.
The 30-year-old center requested a trade following the season , which then-general manager Steve Yzerman confirmed, saying he provided the team with "a short list of teams that Dylan would consider waiving his no-trade (clause) to go to."
The Red Wings announced on July 15 that Yzerman would no longer be the GM , and have yet to name a new leadership group, leaving Larkin's status unclear.
