Police in Waikato are describing last night's stabbing of four people in Hamilton as a large-scale incident, spread over several properties. One person is in hospital with critical injuries, while two others suffered non-life-threatening but serious injuries. A fourth person has minor injuries. Inspector Karl Thornton says police were alerted to the incident on Churchill Ave in Maeroa just before 9pm on Saturday and arrested a 23-year-old man.
