MUMBAI: A 30-year-old man went on a knifing spree at Malwani on Friday morning, resulting in the death of a minor boy and leaving another person critical. The lane was caked in blood as police carted away a blood-soaked Rizwaan Qureshi, the accused, and took him into custody on murder charges.Police added that Qureshi was set to attack a third individual with the knife but locals caught him before he could do so and gave him a sound thrashing.The incident occurred around 10.30 am at New Collector’s Compound, Malwani. Qureshi had come to Mumbai 10 days ago and had been staying in Malwani. On Friday, he was asking for money and approached a shop in Gate no 6 area. A 15-year-old boy, Bunty Khan, was at the shop.
