United failed to hold on to their advantage after Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off for Tottenham at Old Trafford and in the end had to settle for a 1-1 draw, which on the balance of play was the least the visitors deserved.
It was not the way to move into a daunting run of three successive away games, which starts in the Metropolitano on Tuesday night.
But Lammens welcomes the meeting with Diego Simeone's side.
"After a disappointment, you can take that with you, or you can get it changed real quick," said the Belgium international.
