Days after scoring the opener for the reigning World Cup champions against England in the second minute, he has another early goal after scoring in the second minute against Croatia to give La Roja the advantage. In the second half, he added another goal, helping Spain to a 4-1 victory over Croatia.
Spain came down its left flank with Álex Baena - the hero of the 3-2 win over England. His pass looked to be for Fermín López, but the Barcelona man left it for his club teammate at the back post, and Yamal hit a low shot past Croatia goalkeeper Dominik Livaković - another Barcelona man.
