Ladbrokes and Coral owner Entain set to cut up to 400 jobs

The Financial Times reported on Wednesday that chancellor John Healey was considering raising MGD and targeting adult gaming centres and betting shops.
It quoted a "government insider" as saying: “John doesn’t want to stop working people having fun in traditional venues or putting 2p into a slot machine in a seaside arcade. But that is different to these adult gaming centres."
David told the prime minister that Entain's shops contribute about £50 million each year to British horseracing, as well as supporting greyhound racing.
She wrote: "Fewer viable shops would therefore have consequences not only for our own colleagues and high streets, but for jobs and livelihoods across both racing industries.
