Gospel singer, Labisi, has released her new Extended Play album titled, Assurance, which she describes as a collection of songs that celebrates God’s faithfulness through a fusion of indigenous sounds, heartfelt worship and joyful praise.
Released by EeZee Conceptz Global, the project features tracks including Favour Me, Tuale, Assurance and Oba Nke, with each song blending fuji, Afro-gospel and contemporary gospel influences.
A statement shared with Sunday Scoop noted that the EP is “rooted in themes of gratitude, unwavering faith and the assurance found in Christ, while reflecting the singer’s musical heritage and passion for creating songs that connect with audiences across cultures and generations”.
After emerging as the winner of the Gospel Groove Talent Quest in 2023, Labisi signed with EeZee Conceptz Global and has continued to gain recognition through her soul-lifting performances, authentic storytelling and distinct indigenous sound.
