LA28 Announces New Human Rights Grants Program to Support Local Communities Ahead of the 2028 Games As preparations continue for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, LA28 is announcing a new Human Rights Grants Program that will provide individual grants between $50,000 to $100,000 to community organizations working to advance and protect human rights across the Los Angeles region.

The initiative marks the first-ever human rights grants program established by an Olympic and Paralympic organizing committee and reflects LA28's commitment to turning its Human Rights Strategy into meaningful action.

"Hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games brings the responsibility to deliver a safe and secure Games for all of our stakeholders," said LA28 CEO Reynold Hoover . "Through this first-of-its-kind Human Rights Grants Program, we're investing in proven organizations to help deliver for the region and beyond, while safeguarding the Games."
