Peter Allen's world famous maracas, a custom-made vest for pioneering Indigenous singer Archie Roach and Kylie Minogue's gold hotpants are among items on display in an exhibition at the Arts Centre Melbourne.

The ENCORE! exhibition features 50 items chosen for the 50th anniversary of the Australian Performing Arts Collection.

The exhibition opens on Wednesday and runs until May 9, 2027.
