Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray was ruled out of his season debut after sustaining a concussion during a scramble. He was replaced by Carson Wentz following an illegal hit that resulted in a penalty.

Murray sustained a hard, illegal blow to the head midway through the first quarter while sliding at the end of a third-down scramble. Safety Javon Bullard was flagged for unnecessary roughness, but was not ejected.
Murray was able to leave the field under his own power before heading back to the locker room for further evaluation.
Murray’s Vikings debut ends with him having completed 3-of-5 passes for 18 yards with an interception.
Carson Wentz has come in to replace Murray at QB. J.J. McCarthy is the team’s emergency third QB.
The Packers lead the Vikings 12-3 midway through the second quarter.
