Kyabazinga urges Basoga in UAE to invest back home

Kyabazinga William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV has urged Basoga in the United Arab Emirates to preserve their culture, strengthen unity and invest in Busoga and Uganda.

The Kyabazinga made the call on September 26 during his belated 12th Coronation Anniversary celebrations with Basoga in Dubai, held under the theme “Inspiring a new generation to carry the values, vision and legacy of Busoga forward.”

“Invest back home by developing Busoga together and constructing houses to live in,” the Kyabazinga told the gathering.

He encouraged members to consider enterprises such as coffee and cocoa growing as long-term investments.

The Kyabazinga thanked the organisers and members of the Busoga Yaiffe UAE Chapter, led by Mr John Mugabi, for their unity, saying it was an example worth emulating.

He commended the community for preserving Busoga’s culture, norms and values, noting that the traditional attire and cultural performances displayed demonstrated their attachment to heritage.
