District Collector A. Siri on Friday (August 28, 2026) reviewed the arrangements for the annual Sravana Masam festivities at Urukunda Eeranna Temple near Mantrayalam, directing officials to ensure that devotees face no inconvenience.

Addressing the officials of the Endowments Department and other coordinating wings, the Collector called for uninterrupted drinking water supply, power, sanitation, and road facilities.

She directed the temple Executive Officer to install floodlights in the parking areas and temple surroundings and undertake round-the-clock medical services through dedicated teams. Police were directed to regulate traffic efficiently as large crowds are expected from different directions.
