MANSSEHRA - Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi Saturday urged cadets at Pakistan Scouts Cadet College Battarasi to pursue quality education, develop strong character and acquire practical skills to play an effective role in the country's progress.
He was addressing an Independence Day ceremony at the cadet college, where he was the chief guest. The Governor hoisted the national flag, cut an Independence Day cake and launched a tree plantation campaign. He also visited the Martyrs' Memorial, where prayers were offered for the security, stability and prosperity of Pakistan.

Faisal Kundi said Pakistan had been created on August 14 after immense sacrifices by the country's founding generation. He paid tribute to the armed forces for their sacrifices and services in defending the country.
