KTR seeks clarity on State’s stand over revival of Adilabad CCI plant
BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao has requested the Telangana government to clarify its position on reviving the Adilabad Cement Corporation of India plant. He claims the central government is willing to support the project if the state contributes 250 crore rupees.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao urged the Telangana government to clarify its stand on the proposed revival of the Cement Corporation of India (CCI) plant in Adilabad, stating that the issue was crucial for the livelihoods of thousands of families and the district’s industrial development.
In an open letter to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, he also sought an appointment with the Chief Minister and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, along with representatives of the CCI Sadhana Samithi, to submit a representation on the issue.
He said the revival of the Adilabad CCI plant was not merely an industrial matter but one that had significant implications for employment, the industrial future of Adilabad district and the State’s economic growth.
