The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will launch a major campaign State-wide to expose the “Congress government’s betrayal of people as it completes 1,000 days in office”.

The party will organise a series of innovative programmes across Telangana for a week from September 2, highlighting the alleged failure of the Congress government to fulfil its promises.

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao directed senior party leaders, elected representatives and the State committee, during a teleconference on Sunday, and called upon them to take the ‘failures’ to every section of people across the State.

KTR said that the Congress came to power after making numerous promises to people, including the 420 vows, 13 declarations and six guarantees, assuring them that these commitments would be implemented within 100 days. However, even after 1,000 days in office, it had failed to fully fulfil even a single promise, he alleged.
