KSTDC rolls out Ambari double decker bus rides and special tour packages for tourists visiting Mysuru for Dasara

The Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) has launched special travel services, including Ambari double-decker bus rides and seven curated tour packages, to accommodate tourists during the Mysuru Dasara festival. These initiatives aim to improve local connectivity and encourage visitors to explore heritage and nature sites in and around Mysuru.

With a view to ease travel arrangements for tourists visiting Mysuru during Dasara, the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) has introduced special travel arrangements including the Ambari double-decker bus rides and seven special tour packages.
As per the details shared by the KSTDC, the Ambari double-decker buses will operate every hour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a fare of ₹250 per person. Special illumination rides will run at 6.30 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. priced at ₹250 for the lower deck and ₹500 for the upper deck. The route will cover prominent city stretches, including areas around Mysuru palace and Sayyaji Rao Road.
The KSTDC has introduced seven special packages covering Ooty, Mysuru local sightseeing places like Belur-Halebidu-Shravanabelagola, Kodagu, Shivanasamudra, Nanjangud and other heritage, nature and pilgrimage destinations.
