KSRTC to operate over 3,000 special buses for Dasara

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is launching over 3,000 special buses to accommodate travel demand during the Mysuru Dasara festival. The services include inter-state routes and special sightseeing packages for tourists.

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will operate more than 3,000 additional buses from Bengaluru to various destinations within Karnataka and neighbouring States from October 16 to 20 to meet the increased travel demand during the Mysuru Dasara festival and holiday period.
According to a KSRTC press release, the special services would operate in addition to its existing Karnataka Sarige, Rajahamsa, Sleeper, Airavat, Airavat Club Class, Ambari Dream Class, Pallakki Sleeper and Ashwamedha services.
The additional buses would depart from the Kempegowda Bus Station, Mysuru Road Bus Station and the BMTC bus station in Shantinagar. Services would also operate from other locations in Bengaluru, including Vijayanagar, Yeshwanthpur, Jayanagar, Basaveshwaranagar, Domlur and Banashankari.
