KSOU to offer admission for 65 different courses this year
The Karnataka State Open University has opened admissions for 65 courses for the 2026–27 academic year. The university is introducing skill-based certificate programs and offering full fee exemptions for specific groups, including transgender students and those affected by COVID-19.

The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) in Mysuru has announced admissions for the 2026–27 academic year, offering 65 courses. Interested candidates can enrol in the courses until September.
Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, A.P. Gnana Prakash, Vice-Chancellor of KSOU, said, “As the university completes three decades, we are introducing short-term, skill-based certificate courses. There is no need to come to Mysuru to pursue higher education. Students can enrol online through the respective regional centres and study.”
