Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda on Monday (August 31) conducted a surprise inspection of the solid waste management system along with the officials of the Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) within the North Corporation’s jurisdiction.
He directed officials to ensure proper door-to-door collection of segregated waste and instructed sanitation workers to collect waste kept outside residents’ gates instead of waiting for them to hand it over.
Mr. Gowda, along with BNCC Commissioner Pommala Sunil Kumar, conducted a surprise inspection of the solid waste management system in the corporation limits at 5.30 a.m. The inspection covered areas around Mallasandra.
