KRAFTON India, IIT-M launch KIGI Academy to build game development talent ecosystem
KRAFTON India and IIT Madras have launched the KIGI Academy to provide students with hands-on training in game development. The program includes on-site learning and a residency at KRAFTON's headquarters to foster industry-ready talent.

KRAFTON India has joined with Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) to launch KIGI Academy, a new industry-academia initiative designed to build game development talent ecosystem. The IIT-M students, through KIGI Academy, would receive immersive, hands-on exposure across the full spectrum of game development, including coding, game design, UI/UX, art, and product development. The six-month, fully funded programme comprises a four-month on-site learning phase at the IIT-M campus, followed by a two-month immersive residency at KRAFTON India’s headquarters in Bengaluru.
