PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved a scheme to provide free electric scooters to female students and working women, with Peshawar selected for the initial phase.
The approval was granted during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, who directed the relevant authorities to take immediate measures to implement the initiative.
Under the programme, women in Peshawar will initially be provided with electric scooters to facilitate their daily travel to educational institutions and workplaces.
