Komatireddy thanks CM for naming three major hospitals after Telangana icons
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that three major hospitals will be renamed after prominent state icons. The decision follows a request by Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to honor leaders who contributed significantly to the state.

The Alwal and LB Nagar Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) hospitals and the Warangal Super Specialty Hospital will be named after prominent personalities associated with Telangana, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced on Monday.
The announcement was made during the inauguration of the Moosarambagh Flyover at Amberpet. The decision followed a request made by Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to name major hospitals constructed under the Roads and Buildings Department after eminent personalities who had contributed to Telangana.
Accordingly, the Alwal TIMS will be named after former Chief Minister T. Anjaiah, the LB Nagar TIMS after Telangana leader Konda Laxman Bapuji, and the Warangal Super Specialty Hospital after Prof. K. Jayashankar.
