KOAFEC - The African Development Bank Presents Five Regional Projects On Critical Minerals to Korean Investors

The African Development Bank presented five regional projects focused on critical minerals to Korean investors during a high-level dialogue in Seoul. The initiative aims to strengthen economic ties and foster sustainable industrial value chains between Korea and Africa.

The African Development Bank presented five regional projects for the development of the continent's critical minerals, as well as its guarantee and co-financing instruments, to executives from Korean businesses and financial institutions gathered in Seoul on Tuesday 8 September.
Led by the Bank Group's President, Dr Sidi Ould Tah, this presentation took place during the 'Korea-Africa High-Level Dialogue on Investment, Critical Minerals and Sustainable Value Chains', organised ahead of the official opening of the 8th Korea-Africa Economic Cooperation (KOAFEC) Ministerial Conference.
Launched in 2006, the KOAFEC Ministerial Conference is this year celebrating twenty years of strengthened cooperation between Korea and Africa through the African Development Bank.
