Irish rap trio Kneecap have arrived at the Garvaghy Road to show support for residents amid the Drumcree parade dispute.

They also met representatives of the Garvaghy Road residents at the Drumcree Community Centre.

They were greeted by fans as they walked along the road to the junction with Drumcree Road.

Hundreds gathered on the grassy mound at the junction where they were greeted with applause.

It comes after Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald said she and her party will "of course" co-operate with the PSNI over any potential investigation into the Garvaghy Road protest.

Ms McDonald said "there's no question of us co-operating with any process that that will unfold" as she defended Sinn Féin’s participation in the protest, which police have described as unnotified and therefore unlawful.
