The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced that 2025 KCSE certificates are now live on its e-certificate platform, allowing every candidate who sat last year's exam to download an official digital copy of their certificate immediately.

Source: Twitter In a public notice, KNEC said the platform, accessible at ecertificate.knec.ac.ke, now covers all KCSE candidates from 1989 through to 2025, meaning the Class of 2025 joins decades of past candidates already able to retrieve their certificates online.

According to the council, the digital certificate is recognised for the same purposes as the physical copy, including university admission, college, TVET and international admissions, scholarship and bursary applications, as well as job and internship applications and recruitment drives.
