KLU joins hands with HCL Group to transform students into AI innovators

KL Deemed to be University (KLU) has joined hands with HCL Group to establish an agentic artificial intelligence (AI) campus, powered by HCL AI labs, with the aim of transforming students from users of AI tools into creators of autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents.

Artificial intelligence will be integrated into degree programmes, curricula, laboratories, projects and learning activities. “Through this collaboration, we aim to empower students to progress from using AI tools to designing intelligent agents, developing deployable solutions and building meaningful products for real-world challenges,” said KLU Chancellor Er. Koneru Satyanarayana.

Srinath, Dean - Student Skilling and Progression, said the students would receive hands-on exposure to prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, multimodal applications, intelligent chatbots, AI co-pilots, enterprise assistants, intelligent search, workflow automation and AI-enabled decision-support systems.
