Kiyonga urges Ugandans in Korea to invest back home
Uganda is pursuing an ambitious plan to grow its economy to $500 billion by 2040, a target Kiyonga said will require increased investment in infrastructure, energy, industrialisation and the private sector.

Second Deputy Prime Minister Dr Crispus Kiyonga has urged Ugandans living in South Korea to invest their capital, skills and technology back home to support the country's economic transformation.
Kiyonga made the call while addressing the Ugandan diaspora in Seoul ahead of the Uganda - Korea Trade and Investment Meeting scheduled for September 6 - 10, 2026.
