NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leader Abhijeet Dipke on Monday targeted Union Home minister Amit Shah over the ongoing protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, asking how many people the government could arrest as he claimed that the “entire country” would take to the streets on October 10.“Kitno ko arrest karoge AmitShah? 10 Oct ko poora desh aa raha hai,” Dipke wrote on X.The CJP has called on citizens to organise a gathering for what it described as the largest protest on October 10 amid the row over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.Dipke's remarks came a day after several protesters were detained in Delhi during protests, police sources said.Around 120 people were detained in connection with Sunday's protest, police said.Meanwhile, CJP leader Saurav Das claimed that the government was planning to arrest him, Dipke, Ashutosh Ranka, Ratna Singh and other party leaders.
