Kindiki warns against divisive politics in Mt Kenya, backs Ruto re-election

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has warned against what he described as divisive politics in the Mt Kenya region, urging residents to remain united and support President William Ruto’s development agenda.

Speaking in Murang’a County on Wednesday, Kindiki said the government would remain focused on delivering its programmes despite criticism from political opponents.

He urged residents to support Ruto’s re-election bid, saying the government should be given time to complete its agenda before politics takes centre stage.

“We should support President William Ruto for re-election and later he will join retired President Uhuru in retirement. Do not listen to those telling you they were in government. What did they do when they were in government?” Kindiki asked.
