Kindiki Unveils Products to Be Manufactured at Eight County Industrial Parks

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki announced that eight County Aggregation and Industrial Parks in Kenya will be operational by the end of 2026. These parks will focus on value-added manufacturing for local products like macadamia, leather, and dairy.

File Kenyans.co.ke --> Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has announced that the eight County Aggregation and Industrial Parks (CAIPs) will be operational before the end of 2026, revealing products that will be manufactured at the parks.
Kindiki said that the government has received the final technical preparedness reports for the first cohort of eight CAIPs that are being equipped for operationalisation.
According to the DP, each of the eight counties will initially focus on value addition based on products that are widely available in the respective regions.
For instance, Meru and Embu counties will begin with macadamia value addition, while Kirinyaga will focus on the manufacture of tomato paste.
