Kim Chiu's sister asks court to reduce P5.8-M bail in qualified theft case

<p>Lakambini Chiu's legal team has filed a motion before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 84 seeking to lower the P5.8-million bail recommended in connection with the qualified theft charges against her.</p>

<p>According to PLTCOL. Aljun Belista of Kamuning Police Station 10, as reported by 24 Oras, Lakambini is currently being held at the station's custodial facility.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Kim Chiu's legal counsel clarified that the case involving the actress and her sister concerns the alleged loss of corporate funds, rather than a personal dispute between the two.</p>
