The mother of a 31-year-old software engineer, who was allegedly attacked and killed by six members of his wife's family following a marital dispute, recalled the horrific ordeal of being caught completely offguard, believing her relatives had come to her house for a peaceful visit.Vinay Gupta, who worked at Adobe in Noida, was at his Nihal Vihar home in outer Delhi when the alleged attack happened."The door was open, they came straight upstairs. His father said that there is no issue, they are relatives, it is fine, seat them. I said, 'son, turn on the AC, give them water'," the grieving mother said.But the situation turned violent instantly."I just went to give them a glass of water. They had pinned down my boy. They threw him on the bed and grabbed him by the neck.
