Kiely commits to Limerick for All

John Kiely will remain as Limerick senior hurling manager for their All-Ireland SHC title defence next year, with the county board confirming he's staying on "with the option to extend for a further season thereafter".

It will be Kiely's 11th campaign with the Treaty men.

He succeeded TJ Ryan back in September 2016, and went on to spectacularly revitalise Limerick's fortunes.

Last July's defeat of Galway secured the sixth All-Ireland title of his rein. He's also won eight Munster crowns and four Allianz Hurling Leagues.

"Limerick GAA can confirm that Limerick senior hurling manager John Kiely is to continue in his role for the 2027 season with an option to extend for a further season thereafter," a statement read.
