Kanye West has had a long-term influence on Kid Cudi's career, and the latter is acknowledging it in his latest social media post.
Looking back at his iconic album, A Kid Named Cudi, he credited Ye, among others, as a key influence on the album's creation.
"My message was simple: help young people not feel alone and bring shelter for those that were lost," he wrote in the post's caption.
Naming all of them together, Cuid penned, "I want to thank Plain Pat, Emile, Dot, and Kanye. With out you 4, things would not have gone the way they did."
