Khanapur temple idols damaged
Unidentified individuals damaged religious idols at the Sri Siddeshwar temple in Nidagal, Belagavi district. Local police have registered a case and are investigating the vandalism of the Shivalinga, Nandi, and other temple artifacts.

The incident came to light on Monday. The village residents called the police who came to the spot.
The police registered a case. The temple Shivalinga and Nandi, a statuette of a tortoise, and the Tulasi pot were damaged. The temple situated is on a hill around two km away from Nidgal village.
