Khadi special rebate sale begins in Tiruchi
Khadi Kraft outlets in Tiruchi have launched a special Deepavali rebate sale to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary. The initiative offers significant discounts on various handloom products to encourage the use of khadi.

Special rebate sales for Deepavali began at Khadi Kraft retail outlets in Tiruchi on Friday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments S. Ramesh inaugurated the sale at an outlet near Tiruchi Railway Junction, after paying floral tributes to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. Collector Pratik Tayal, Corporation Commissioner N. Ponmani, and senior officials participated.
According to a press release, a sales target of ₹2 crore had been set for this year. The Deepavali special sale of khadi, dhotis , shirts, towels, bedsheets, pillows, pillow covers, mattresses, silk saris, and other products would entail substantial discount. While 30% discount will be given to silk saris and other khadi products, woollen products will be sold at 20% discount.
