Key suspects in investment scam surrender

Two key suspects in a multi-level marketing and cryptocurrency investment scam have surrendered to a Dindigul court. The suspects were allegedly involved in a fraudulent scheme that promised high returns through mobile applications.

Key suspects in the FQL investment mobile application scam Ranjith (29) and his wife Priyadharshini (23) from Melur in Madurai district surrendered before a Dindigul court on Monday.
A total of nine agents have been arrested in connection with the case so far. However, key suspects Ranjith and his wife Priyadharshini were on the run. Police teams from various districts were on the lookout for the couple. Under these circumstances, the couple surrendered before the Judicial Magistrate Court in Dindigul.
Economic Offences Wing which is investigating the multi-level marketing-cum-cryptocurrency trading fraud operated under the names ‘FQL Investment Trading’, ‘FQL Exchange App’, and ‘VG Investment Group Syndicate’ across Madurai, Virudhunagar, Dindigul, and Sivaganga districts over the past seven months were informed. The EOW is questioning the couple.
