There is a never-ending parade of commuters during these hours, and their movement is hampered by haphazard parking of vehicles, largely those belonging to visitors to four shops on Muthiah Street. Offscourings from these shops left behind on the road add to the impediment.
A resident of the area notes on condition of anonymity that in the early morning hours, this situation causes noticeable disturbance to college students and walkers. The resident adds that haphazard parking is essentially the result of visits to four shops. Grey water and rotten vegetables from a fast food shop and a vegetable shop make it to the road.
